Most amenities are located in Tantallon near Exit 5 of the divided highway #103.  There are wonderful views and an “old time” charm to the area.  The St. Margaret's Bay Chamber of Commerce website is an excellent resource on the various businesses and activities ongoing in this area.
 
Schools
Excellent schools are available in this area however exact schools and their feeder schools will vary depending upon the area.  There is also access to private schooling and some French emersion.  The best avenue for determining which school for the home you are looking at is to directly access the Halifax School Board site at www.hrsb.ns.ca.

Commuting Times
