Homes for sale in Halifax

Halifax has a wide range of residential homes for sale.  Age and size of property will vary depending upon the area you wish to live.   New construction, condos and Executive homes on large lots, waterfront properties and great downtown locations are available however generally the closer you get to the Downtown Areas of Halifax, the more expensive the property will be.

Two toll bridges link the twin cities of Halifax and Dartmouth with a regular and quick foot-passenger ferry service too.
The South End of Halifax is renowned for its Victorian houses.   Clayton Park is an area where many homes have been built in recent years with a good mix of apartments, condos, town houses and areas with larger homes.  There is a mix of all ages and family size.  Lot sizes tend to be smaller in the newer development areas.

Schools
Within the various parts of Halifax there is a wide variety of public schools and private schools.  French emersion programs are available.  As school districts change please access the Halifax School Board site at www.hrsb.ns.ca.

Commuting Times 
Commuting times within Halifax of course will vary.  Depending upon the time of day, your location and destination travel times can vary enormously.  A trip from the housing district of Clayton Park to Downtown areas can be as little as 10 or as long as 30 minutes.
