HRM Subdivisions

The HRM Areas are split into various regions dating back to the original cities of Halifax, Bedford & Dartmouth although now towns like Sackville, Fall River / Waverley, Hammonds Plains, Tantallon, St. Margarets Bay, Hubley, Prospect, Timberlea, Porters Lake, and Lake Echo are also included.

Halifax subdivisions are many and varied.  As the subdivisions are so varied you will surely be able to find an area that suits your wants, needs and budget. 

Closer to the cities of Halifax, Bedford & Dartmouth prices will be generally higher and lots smaller however this has to be off-set by closer proximity to services and amenities.

Take only a few minutes drive along one of the highways and you will find subdivisions and areas that offer larger lots and more in the way of country living.  Prices can be cheaper than similar sized homes in the bigger cities and you also benefit from less hustle & bustle if that’s what you are looking for.

Trails criss-cross the area for walking, cycling and seasonal activities with lakes, beaches and easy access to the sea never far away from any of the HRM Subdivisions.
